Andy, Tia, Major and Legend Stokes
Major feeding himself a bowlful of spaghetti!!! Tonya and I went to Olive Garden for lunch with Major. That restaurant is NOT a Kid friendly restaurant, so we let him feed himself and entertain himself. He obviously was enjoying his food. Spaghetti is his favorite food.
Some of my family after the show: Max & Sunny's family and Tonya & Bryan and their family.
Me and my MAN!!! Supporting me again!!! He brought me flowers.
After the Kalamity, Dance for a cure, Premier Dance Studio did another recital called "God's Messengers". It was a show about the prophets in the LDS church and there were some very beautiful choreographed dances. I felt very honored to be able to participate in this performance.
My dad giving me a BIG hug and kiss and GOOD LUCK with his signs cheering me on. My family at the top of Snow Canyon waiting for me to come through.
Me after the marathon with all of my lei's.
Andy ran the last mile with me.
Me and my family at the finish line!!! ************************
October 3rd, 2009 was the St. George Marathon. I trained for the last 9 months with one of my young woman and ran and completed it for the second time in my life. I was 14 the last time I ran it, but I trained and ran it faster this time around. My family came and saw me at mile marker 16 in Snow Canyon. My sweet husband tried to get up there to see me but the darn police wouldn't let him park any closer to the top so he had to try and run up and meet me. To my dismay, he missed me and I totally missed seeing him. I was excited to see my family, but when I didn't see my personal giant, I was sad. I continued to run and at mile marker 25 I saw my personal giant, the love of my life and my little Major giant. There cheering me on. Andy ran with me to the finish line and helped encourage me to keep going. I love him so much and appreciate all of the support he comintues to give me in everything that I do. My family was there cheering me on and for the first time, my dad watched someone in our family run through the finish line, instead of him running through the finish line. I think it was pretty weird for him to be on that end of the race. It was a beautiful day to run the marathon.
My cute husband video taped the whole show. What a trooper, watching the whole show through a 2 inch screen. I love him. He always supports me in everything!!! Me, Cambria, Cecilee, Kiana, & Tayvia after the show. **********************
Kalamity's Dance for a Cure for Tiff went very well. We were able to raise about $1,100 for Tiff. The girls in the show did so well, I was so proud of them and all of the support from everyone in the community.
